This is a very nice Flintlock Pistol of Classical French Manufacture signed by FATOU of PARIS, who worked from 1796 at 8 Rue St. Denis in Paris, and who then moved to 844 Rue du Bacq in VERSAILLES in 1805. The fine quality walnut stock is very artistically inlaid with silver wire in great swirls. The pistol has all solid SILVER mounts.
